Drone Air Space Map India

Indian Air Space for drones has been segregated into  three zones which are published in DigitalSky Website, namely

  • Red Zone
  • Yellow Zone
  • Green Zone

Red Zones are complete No-Fly Zones, for operating in Yellow Zones permissions are required from concerned authorities & Green Zones are mostly free for all RPC holders .

Each of the zones in air space has vertical and horizontal limitations for operating drones.

Some Red Zones are not only based on Airports but also on Deemed Places of Importance and Temporary Red Zones are applied when needed by law enforcement.

One must always check this map before starting operations. Below is the illustration for Airspace segregation.
